Fresh Into college.

Fresh off high school graduation, I began working towards becoming an on-camera esports host. However, when I emailed Tech Esports about opportunities, they needed a social media manager, someone to create the pages as they were refounding the program.

Despite never touching social media outside my personal Instagram, I accepted the position and quickly amassed 1k+ followers on the Tech Esports account as a freshman in college.

As a sophomore, I helped our esports teams with recruitment alongside my marketing duties and secured an internship with Myztro Gaming, an esports org founded in 2017.

As a junior, I rose to Chief Marketing Officer at Tech Esports and started sponsorship talks with various major brands before leaving the org to focus on Myztro in September 2019. I also secured a position at Texas Tech Recreational Sports as a social media manager.

As a senior, I elevated Myztro’s brand recognition as the Director of Content and became President of Raider Riot, the largest basketball student section in the United States. I was promoted to Marketing Student Supervisor at TTU Recreational Sports and guided the brand through a successful rebrand to University Recreation. I was hired at Campus Live Media, where I continue to work as on-camera sports talent and an esports reporter.

I’ve made impressive ground as a college student, more than many of my peers, and I intend to continue to do so in my professional career.
